Set up
Each bounce house needs a set amount of space! Space needed is greater than the actual size of the inflatable, due to steaks to tie it down, safety landing mats, and blowers. Please see the space requirements for the inflatable you are renting. Inflatables can not squeeze into smaller spaces.

The space provided must be 100% free from sharp objects, pet waste, grass clippings, sticks, stumps, branches, rocks, etc. While short grass is recommended, please do not have grass cut the day of the event. Do not have grass cut the day before. Please have grass cut at least 2 days before the event. The same applies to pesticides or other chemicals being used.

It is best to inspect the area for pest concerns prior to choosing a space. Watch out for ant piles and other hazards.
There must be room both on the ground and in the air, so be sure there are no hazards like power lines, tree branches, cables, or sprinklers in or near the space.

Please clean the space and remove any hazards, furniture, and other items before delivery.

The renting adult, 18+ must be present for delivery at the agreed upon set up time.

When using the inflatable in a park or public space, please ensure you have all the needed permissions, permits, and fees taken care of before we arrive. Some parks do not allow bounce houses or other devices so please check with the location prior to booking. Please arrive before the scheduled delivery time to make sure the area is ready for set up. If you are late, or if the area is not prepared, we may have to leave and come back due to other party reservations. We will also charge an additional fee that must be paid before the event starts.
Please ensure that the outlets being used to power the blowers- are in clean working condition and free from hazards. The outlet must be within 100 feet of the blower for current requirements. Some inflatables have multiple blowers and need multiple outlets. We do not have a generator for rent at this time. If you are providing one, check with us first so we can ensure compatibility.

Safety
Adult supervision is required at all times! Please make sure an adult is watching, organizing, and responding to the children in the bounce house.

Please limit the number of children that bounce at one time. Older children/adults should bounce separately from young children. If there are nerodivergent or autistic children present, consider allowing them to jump with a smaller number of others and limiting sounds and lights during their jump time.

When using slides, be sure to limit people at the top and bottom of the slides to avoid injury.
Ensure that bouncers take breaks and stay hydrated! Please monitor children to ensure no one is getting injured, getting bullied, or overheating. You are responsible for the safety of the children at your event at all times.

Empty pockets before jumping! No sharp or hard objects, no loose change, No cell phones. Please remove glasses, jewelry, hair pins, watches, broaches, etc.

Unless water is involved, jumpers must wear socks while using any rental.

NO shoes in the inflatables.

Silly string, glitter, and confetti can damage the plastic in our bounce houses. NO silly string, confetti, glitter, smoke bombs, fireworks, etc. to be used in or near the inflatable.

No food, drink, gum, candy, etc. inside the inflatable.

Do not bounce against the netting, sides, or entrances.

Do not enter the inflatable if you are injured, sick, have an open wound, or any other health concerns. Do not enter the inflatable if you are pregnant.

Have a safety plan in place. If there are unsafe conditions, if a blower stops working, if there is an injury, or if the wind picks up, have everyone exit the bounce house immediately and address the situation.

If the wind is above 15mph do not use the bounce house, allow it to deflate, and only re-inflate if conditions improve.

Rain and water will make bounce houses slippery, please use caution. If there are heavy downpours of rain, or thunder and lighting in the vicinity please deflate and do not use until conditions improve.

If the inflatable has zippers or velcro, these must be secured at all times. Inflatable must remained staked down at all times, and the blower must remain on when in use. Do not attempt to move the inflatable without permission.

Blowers must remain on the ground, in contact with the earth to dispel shock hazards. Do not allow anyone to play near blowers.

Solutions
Blower stops- Occasionally blowers stop. If this happens, or if any deflation is present, promptly exit all jumpers from the inflatable and address the issue. Do not allow anyone to play in, on, or around the house while deflated.
First, disconnect the plugs and check for the most common issue- if there are any debris blocking, crowding, or clogging the blowers. Remove, and test to see if this has solved the problem.
The second most common issue is due to tripping or overloading a power connection source. When using inflatables, allow them to use their own circuit. Do not use other electronic plug ins or devices on the same circuit that is powering the inflatable. Use only in a 10a power circuit or more. Normal 115 volt circuit. Most house connections have this provided outdoors. Extension chords will be provided but blower must be within 100 feet of the power source to allow a proper current flow and constant inflation.

Do not use a blower or inflatable if a blower has gotten wet. Do not attempt to fix a blower or mess with any components of the inflatable without contacting us first, and ensuring it has been disconnected from power.

If you still encounter issues with the blowers, or any other part of the inflatable, contact us.

Weather- weather concerns should be addressed before the day of the rental. In most cases, you can check the weather in advance and prepare accordingly. Please see FAQ page and consult the details of your contract for weather policies.

If unexpected weather greets your party day, here are some steps you can take to stay safe.

Rain- The blowers that operate an inflatable must stay dry. A light sprinkle is generally okay, but any rain at all increases the risk of electrical shock, and injury due to slips and falls. Disconnect the blowers from electricity when rain is present, do not enter the bounce house while blowers are off, and cover the blowers to prevent them from getting damaged. Do not re-inflate the inflatable unless you are 100% sure the weather has passed, and the blowers and connections have remained dry and are safe to use.

Wind- If trees are swaying, or things are being blown around, then it is generally unsafe to use an inflatable outdoors. Inflatable may not be used in any wind exceeding 15mph, and must be deflated in such conditions.

Snow- If there is snow on the ground, or in the air, bounce house surfaces are slippery. Use caution, clean snow from clothes before entering the bounce house, never use shoes inside an inflatable, and do not enter an inflatable under conditions that would make the bounce house unsafe.

Injury- In case of any injury, have all jumpers exit the bounce house safely, and attend to the injured person. Call 911 in case of emergency. Do not attempt to move a person out of the bounce house if they are unable to climb out themselves. Do not allow anyone to be in an inflatable that is not fully inflated. Discourage rough housing and maintain close adult supervision at all times.
